DAY 1 REPORT – ORIENTATION PROGRAMME 2026
Date: 6 July 2026 (Monday)
Venue: Don Bosco Degree College, Moti Nagar, Hyderabad
The Orientation Programme 2026 for the newly admitted first-year degree students commenced successfully on Monday, 6 July 2026 at Don Bosco Degree College, Moti Nagar, Hyderabad.
The programme began with a prayer and prayer song, seeking God's blessings for the new academic year. The students were then warmly welcomed to the Don Bosco family by the Principal and faculty members.
The sessions introduced students to the college, its vision, mission, values, academic environment, and the opportunities available for their overall development. An Anti-Ragging Awareness Session was conducted to educate students about the UGC Anti-Ragging regulations and the importance of maintaining a safe, respectful, and ragging-free campus.
A Goal Orientation Session inspired students to set clear academic and personal goals, develop self-discipline, and make the best use of their college life. The programme concluded with a group photograph, capturing the enthusiasm of the students and marking the beginning of their journey at Don Bosco Degree College.
The first day of the Orientation Programme was interactive, informative, and inspiring. The students actively participated in all the sessions and expressed great enthusiasm as they began their new academic journey.

DAY 2 REPORT – ORIENTATION PROGRAMME 2026
Date: 7 July 2026 (Tuesday)
Venue: Don Bosco Degree College, Moti Nagar, Hyderabad
The second day of the Orientation Programme 2026 at Don Bosco Degree College, Moti Nagar, Hyderabad, was conducted successfully with enthusiastic participation from the newly admitted first-year degree students.
The day began with an Exercise Session, where students actively participated in warm-up exercises, stretching, breathing exercises, and simple physical activities. The exercises were displayed on the screen, and students followed the instructions with great enthusiasm, promoting physical fitness, discipline, and a healthy lifestyle.
The second session, "Sports for Life," was delivered by Mr. Pavan Srivastava, who emphasized the importance of sports in developing discipline, teamwork, leadership, confidence, and overall well-being. The session motivated students to actively participate in sports alongside their academic pursuits.
Later, a Stress Management Session was conducted, during which students learned simple and effective stress-relieving techniques, including deep breathing, positive thinking, relaxation methods, and time management. To make the session more interactive, several stress-buster games were organized, which students enjoyed and participated in enthusiastically.
The day concluded with including Volleyball, Kho Kho, and Running Events. The competitions encouraged teamwork, sportsmanship, physical fitness, and healthy competition, while providing students with an enjoyable and energetic experience.
Overall, the second day of the Orientation Programme was interactive, informative, and engaging. The students actively participated in every session, gained valuable knowledge and life skills, and enjoyed a healthy balance of learning and physical activity.

DAY 3 REPORT – ORIENTATION PROGRAMME 2026
Date: 8 July 2026 (Wednesday)
Venue: Don Bosco Degree College, Moti Nagar, Hyderabad
The third day of the Induction Programme 2026 began with a refreshing Yoga Session, where students actively participated in simple yoga exercises that improved their flexibility, posture, concentration, and overall well-being.
The second session, Don Bosco Values – Message to the Youth, was delivered by Fr. Gopu Peter SDB. He inspired the students to live with discipline, honesty, respect, responsibility, and strong moral values, encouraging them to become responsible and good citizens.
The third session was on Time Management, conducted by Mr. Balaraju, H.O.D. – Commerce & Management. Students learned the importance of planning their time, setting priorities, avoiding procrastination, and maintaining a balance between academics and personal life.
The day concluded with Games and Competitions organized by the Cultural Club. Students enthusiastically participated in fun and interactive activities that promoted teamwork, creativity, communication, confidence, and healthy interaction among their peers.
Overall, Day 3 was engaging and enriching, providing students with valuable life skills, moral guidance, and enjoyable activities that contributed to their personal growth and successful transition into college life.

DAY 4 REPORT – ORIENTATION PROGRAMME 2026
Date: 9 July 2026 (Thursday)
Venue: Don Bosco Degree College, Moti Nagar, Hyderabad
The fourth day of the Orientation Programme 2026 was conducted successfully with active participation from the first-year degree students.
The day began with a Yoga Session led by Mrs. Prasanna, Yoga Trainer, who guided students through simple yoga postures and breathing exercises to promote physical fitness, mental relaxation, and overall well-being.
The second session, "Don Bosco Legacy Around the Globe," was delivered by Fr. Thomas Aquinas, Principal. He shared the global mission of Don Bosco institutions and inspired students with the achievements of Don Bosco alumni, encouraging them to uphold Don Bosco values and strive for excellence.
The third session focused on Anger Management by Mr. Rajesh, HOD of computer science where students learned practical ways to understand and control their emotions through patience, positive thinking, self-control, and effective communication. The session emphasized the importance of emotional well-being and maintaining healthy relationships.
The day concluded with a Poster Making Competition organized by the Green Club on the theme "Save the Ecosystem." Students enthusiastically expressed their creativity and environmental awareness through meaningful posters promoting nature conservation and sustainable living.
Overall, Day 4 was informative, interactive, and inspiring. The sessions helped students strengthen their physical and emotional well-being, understand the values of Don Bosco, and develop a sense of environmental responsibility, making the day a meaningful part of the Orientation Programme.


DAY 5 REPORT – ORIENTATION PROGRAMME 2026
Date: 10 July 2026 (Friday)
Venue: Don Bosco Degree College, Moti Nagar, Hyderabad
The fifth day of the Orientation Programme 2026 was conducted successfully with active participation from the first-year degree students.
The Meditation session helped students relax their minds, improve concentration, reduce stress, and begin the day with a calm and positive attitude. Students actively participated and experienced the importance of mindfulness and inner peace for academic success and personal well-being.
The E-Waste Management session created awareness about electronic waste, its impact on the environment, and the importance of responsible disposal and recycling of electronic devices. Students learned simple practices to reduce e-waste and contribute towards a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future.
The session introduced students to the various clubs and associations in the college, highlighting their objectives, activities, and opportunities for participation. Students were encouraged to join clubs based on their interests and talents to develop leadership, teamwork, creativity, communication skills, and social responsibility while actively participating in campus life.
We conducted an Industrial Mentoring Soft Skills & Job Orientation session for first-year students. It focused on developing communication skills, teamwork, career awareness, and industry readiness. Students gained valuable insights into internships, job opportunities, workplace expectations, and the importance of building professional skills for a successful career. The interactive session motivated students to prepare themselves for future challenges with confidence and a positive attitude.
