Don Bosco Degree College, Hyderabad, organized Social Club Day 2026 on 21st February 2026 at 12:00 PM in the College Assembly Hall, under the theme “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” The programme, conducted by the Social Club, aimed at promoting social responsibility, community engagement, and service-oriented values among students in line with NAAC quality parameters. The event was graced by Mr. Reinhard Heiserer (President, Jugend Eine Welt, Austria) as Chief Guest, Mr. Harald Seebacher (Senior Expert – JEW) as Guest of Honour, and Fr. Noel SDB (Don Bosco Life, Hyderabad) with their presence adding international perspective to social development. The programme featured a prayer song, welcome address, honoring of dignitaries, presentations on NAAC and Social Club activities, a “Shayari” performance, video on social services, cultural dance, and distribution of blood donation and appreciation certificates. The event motivated students to participate in outreach programmes, strengthened institutional-community linkage, and enhanced awareness of social responsibility. Overall, Social Club Day 2026 stood as a meaningful celebration of service, recognition, and value-based education, reinforcing the college’s commitment to nurturing socially responsible citizens.

Don Bosco Degree College, Department of Commerce and Management, organized an industrial visit to Masqati Dairy Products Ltd., Hyderabad on 16 October 2025 for B.Com (Computer Applications) and BBA students, with a total of 30 participants. The visit was led by Ms. Sony Pasala (Assistant Professor in Management) and accompanied by faculty members Mrs. Krishna Joshi (HOD, Allied Science), Mrs. Sapna (Lecturer in Commerce), and Mrs. Beaulah (Lecturer in Commerce). Students departed the college at 9:30 AM and reached Masqati by 10:30 AM, where they spent an hour exploring the company’s operations.

Don Bosco Degree College organized a grand Freshers’ Party on 30th August 2025 under the auspices of the Computer Science Department. The event was conducted to warmly welcome the first-year students into the college fraternity and to help them feel comfortable and confident in their new academic environment.
The program began with a formal welcome address by the Head of the Department, who encouraged the freshers to actively participate in academic and co-curricular activities. Faculty members extended their best wishes and motivated students to make the most of their college journey.
The celebration was filled with excitement and entertainment. Seniors organized various fun games, talent rounds, and interactive activities to engage the newcomers. The freshers showcased their talents through dance, singing, and other cultural performances, making the event lively and memorable.
One of the highlights of the program was the “Mr. Fresher” and “Ms. Fresher” contest, where participants impressed the audience with their confidence, creativity, and communication skills. The winners were crowned amidst loud cheers and applause.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the management, faculty, and students for their efforts in making the program a grand success. The Freshers’ Party not only strengthened the bond between seniors and juniors but also marked a joyful beginning to the academic year at Don Bosco Degree College.
